Daycare Deserts
A field census of early-childhood education centers — jardines and guarderías — in Santiago, Bogotá and Santo Domingo, mapping and validating where centers actually operate in order to identify and quantify barriers to access to early-childhood education in the region's cities. Fieldwork ran in 2024–2025; validated, de-duplicated registries were delivered for each country, and the Colombia data feeds the school explorer platform.
